A Pennsylvania animal shelter is hoping to place a sweet, blind senior dog in his final home. The dog, named Souffle, was one of 34 dogs who were rescued from a convicted dog-fighter. Souffle is currently in a foster home through the Pennsylvania SPCA, but everyone wants him to enjoy a family of his very own for what remains of his life.
On April 6, the animal welfare agency wrote:
We cannot begin to imagine what his life has been like. We don’t know how old he is, or how much time he has left. But, we know we want to make it the best we possibly can.
And to do that, we need your help. Will you share for this sweet boy to get him home for his final days, weeks, months or if we’re really lucky, even years?
Sharing insight from Souffle’s foster family:
“Souffle is a very sweet senior boy who loves to nap and get pets from his humans.
This guy loves his treats as much as he loves attention. Souffle gets along well with other dogs, and would do well in a home with another animal with low energy.
Because Souffle is blind he does need help being guided on walks, he can walk up stairs but does not do well when going down stairs. Souffle is a really good dog just looking to spend the rest of his days giving and getting as much love as possible.”
