Two-year-old Jewel has been failed by humans; we can only hope someone has the heart to rescue this young mother dog and her seven puppies. According to the DeSoto Animal Shelter Louisiana, Jewel had been in labor when her owners abandoned her at a gas station.
A special emotional plea on social media has broken our hearts:
JEWEL , 2-3 year old DUMPED at a gas station while she was in LABOR!!! YEP HUMANS DID THIS TO HER… and she is still sweet with her 7,20 day old babies. Jewel and her babies needs RESCUE ASAP, unfortunately mom is HW+. ….
The shelter will help to finance heartworm treatment, but Jewel will need a foster home along with her puppies. Please share with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
