Pepito needs help now. Ten days ago, the three-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix was rescued from off the streets of San Antonio, but sadly he ended up in the shelter, and no one has come to take him home.
It is suspected Pepito had been attacked by another dog while he was lost and has been suffering at the shelter with a broken front left leg. The shelter had planned to amputate his leg last week, but Pepito came down with an upper respiratory infection which precludes any surgery. They are now treating his respiratory condition, but he needs further care and a future.

Pepito is in pain with an injured/possibly broken leg for 10 days and now is sick with a URI. Sadly that’s all we know at this time is an injured/possibly broken leg and now a URI. The shelter doesn’t have the equipment to properly diagnose and care for sweet Pepito. Please pledge and share sweet Pepito so he can secure rescue and get the medical care that he needs and deserves.
