27 dogs and puppies rescued from ‘inhumane conditions’ at home of breeder

SWANZEY, N.H. – Over two dozen dogs have been rescued from conditions described as “inhumane” thanks to a year-long investigation by Monadnock Humane Society’s Humane Agent, Beth Doyle. According to the animal welfare agency, State Police were able to serve a search warrant at the home of a dog breeder. The residence was described as “deplorable.”

Officials removed 13 adult dogs and 14 puppies, seven of whom are still nursing from their malnourished mom; all of the dogs are now safely in the care of Monadnock Humane Society (MHS).

The shelter is hopeful that the public will step up to help them provide food and veterinary care to the dogs who were rescued. You can make a donation to the animal welfare agency at this link.

The breeder, 56-year-old Tory Frazier, has been charged with animal neglect and is expected to appear before the court in the next couple of weeks.
