Stray Rescue of St. Louis is asking for help with a young dog found lying next to a woman’s car yesterday morning. A Good Samaritan found him and at first glance, thought the puppy had died because he wasn’t moving. His leash and his collar were lying next to him. Then she saw him take a breath and rushed into her home, grabbed some blankets and towels and wrapped him up; then driving him to the rescue organization for emergency life-saving help.
When he arrived, he was cold, and veterinarians were not able to get a temperature reading. He was matted and emaciated, and he is being closely monitored.
We’re told he was given away by his owners who no longer wanted him because he lifted his leg often. He was given to someone on Craigslist (PSA NEVER GIVE YOUR DOG AWAY ON CRAIGSLIST) How he got into this disgusting state is a mystery.
