In the backyard of a home in Phoenix, Arizona, a baby bobcat refused to leave the spot where she had chosen to hide. The family dogs barked and the family lightly tossed pebbles at the kitten hoping to motivate her to leave. Nothing seemed to do the trick, and it soon became “clear that something was wrong” with the tiny trespasser.
According to the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, the kitten was being ornery – it was injured and too much in pain to want to move away.
A rescuer from the non profit wild animal welfare organization was dispatched to the home and managed to capture the kitten and bring it back to the clinic for veterinarian treatment.
Upon evaluation, vet techs noticed her front paw was extremely swollen.
Faceook
It is believed the kitten had either been bitten by a snake or stung by a scorpion.
Nothing a little rest, medicine, and love won’t cure.
