Moses Lake, WA – Five days ago, a malnourished little dog was picked up from the road by Moses Lake Police. According to Grant County Outreach, she was rushed to a veterinarian for emergency care.
The animal welfare agency believes that the small dog’s extensive injuries are likely the result of being thrown from a car. The agency said:
We rushed her to Pioneer Vet Clinic for evaluation. Wounds look like she was thrown from a car. She is EXTREMELY emaciated and was not even able to get a body temp from her.
Fortunately, the bad days are in this dog’s past. She now has a name (Lil Puppet) and she is recuperating in a foster home. Lil Puppet is on medication for her injuries, and she is getting as much food as she can. The organization writes:
She is safe, warm and getting all the food we can possibly give her. We will update you on her progress. If you want like to donate to her ongoing care please call Pioneer Vet Clinic. Any donation will help and we thank you 😊.
