Florida man reunited with dog he lost a year ago thanks to a microchip

Admin

Tyrice Earl had been visiting his grandmother in Chicago last year when his puppy accidentally ran out of their home. For days and weeks, Earl and his family searched for Tristan, but there were no clues or reports of the missing dog having been found.

Fast forward to a year later, Tyrice had returned to his home in Florida and never expected to hear news about his beloved lost puppy, but miracles happen, and those tiny microchips certainly have made a difference in the lives of thousands and thousands of lost pets being reunited with their owners. And Tristan’s story isn’t much difference. Recently the dog had been brought into the Veterinary Emergency Group located in the South Loop as a stray.

A scan for a microchip found Tristan’s family – and it was Earl who lived in Florida.

According to AbcChicago, Tyrice and Tristan have been reunited.

You don’t realize how much you miss a little puppy until they’re gone and Tristan’s a family dog.

ABC News from Earl

And now Tristan and his owner are on their way home where the dog will be receiving his vaccinations and a haircut, and meet his family’s two other dogs.

Here’s hoping for a happy reunion and years and years of adventures and happiness.
