At the corner of 400 East Harding Street in Long Beach, California a ten-month-old puppy desperately tried to catch up with her family after they abandoned her. According to witnesses, who spotted the panicked puppy near DeForest park last weekend, chasing who likely had been her owner’s vehicle, the dog, unable to catch up to her owner, stopped and just shut down in a panic.
She was so frightened neighbors thought she was struck by a car, but she was just struck by reality. It’s taken several days of efforts just to get her to muster up enough courage to leave her kennel and walk.
