In Chicago, a small dog got stuck inside of a bathroom wall earlier this week. It’s dusty fur could be seen through the hole, and this little pooch was not a happy girl.
According to the Oak Park Fire Department, rescuers were called to help a “dog trapped in a wall” and when they arrived, a small nearly blind and deaf pup had fallen into a hole that had been open for plumbing work on the second floor of an apartment building on Austin Boulevard.
The senior miniature pinscher had become wedged between the wall near a first floor bathroom. Firefighter made a hall in the wall in order to be able to grab the dog and rescue her.
We did not catch the good girl’s Name, but she was removed from the wall through the access hole. She was a little dusty and shaken up, but did not appear injured and was returned to her grateful owner.

The dog belongs to the contractor who was doing the plumbing work. Most likely, a good bath and some tender, loving care were in order for this little pooch.
