UPDATE: RESCUED thank you
Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin and San Antonio (CSRA) ! They are a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer nonprofit organization working to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home Cocker Spaniels throughout Texas. They are committed to Cockers and Cocker mixes in need. If you would like to donate toward Casanova’s care, you may do so through their website www.austincockerrescue.org. Thank you.
In the overcrowded shelters of rural Nueces County in Texas, a rather heartless family surrendered their senior cocker spaniel because he went blind. And here he is – staring blankly out the little door, completely heartbroken and not understanding what has happened to him.
He was dumped on a weekend, no hope of surviving. Don’t let his last days being here; he needs a home to curl up to in.
Volunteers Facebook Nueces County, TX: Dogs in Need of Rescue
As has been the problem in Texas for too long of a time, their shelters are full, and therefore any futures for lost, injured and surrendered dogs are often limited to just days. Tragically, the Nueces County Shelter is in crisis mode at this time – simply meaning there are too many dogs and not enough adopters.
Please check out the Facebook page of the Nueces County, TX: Dogs in Need of Rescue. Here you will find young puppies, purebred dogs and of course the old ones – the seniors who have so little time because they are so often just not wanted anymore.
Share for this senior – a Cocker Spaniel who has done absolutely nothing wrong.
