A Pennsylvania man became a hero this weekend after he saved a dog hanging from the door of a closed elevator.
Checking out the YouTube video posted on Inside Edition, Fernando Santos can be seen entering the building while scrolling on his phone. Santos pushes the elevator button and waits for the elevator, but suddenly looks up and sees a small dog hanging from the elevator door.
Santos quickly unhooked the dog from his leash, saving the little guy’s life.
It has been reported that the dog’s owner had been carrying an arm’s load of packages into the elevator and mistakenly overlooked the dog entering the elevator.
Thank goodness this little pooch was wearing a harness and not a leash around his neck.
