At the East Valley Animal Shelter, a 15-year-old tiny mixed breed is “once again” at the shelter. This is not the first time this dog’s owner failed to keep him safe. Back in 2020, the dog, named Trouble, had been found as a stray and returned to his owner, and now three years later, Trouble is back at the shelter.

The shelter is interested in a foster or rescue organization stepping up to help Trouble. Going back to the East Valley shelter is not a suggested option. At this time, Trouble is very thin and needs someone to help him gain weight and strength. The shelter is not able to give Trouble the time and care he needs.
He came back this time in awful condition !
He is 15 years old… arrived with a large mass on his mouth and now it’s been removed. Had severe periodontal disease – had teeth removed too. He is at a Good Sam Vet clinic- but we’re interested in finding a rescue & foster – he is gonna need syringe feeding until his mouth heals. This is a super sweet pup, but as you can see, he seems defeated
