Hearts Break As Newly Adopted Dog Is Too Scared To Enter Her New Home

Meet Ms. Desi Lu, a Basset hound mix who has been lucky enough to find a new, loving home, but first – her new mom had to convince Desi Lu her new life would be wonderful.

According to the Houston and Tomball area realtor Gina Thornton’s TikTok account, at ginasellstexas, Ms. Desi Lu wasn’t the kind of pup who would happily dive right into her new surroundings. In fact, possibly from some traumatic event in her past life, Desi Lu lacked self-confidence, and when invited into her new home, she just cowered at the door.

“We adopted Ms. Desi Lu on Sat, April 13. She’s a basset hound mix. She was scared to come in, but I assured her it was okay.”

Needless to say, as we watched we all wanted to cry.

Yet, Ms. Desi Lu’s self confidence gradually got better. New friends, lots of love and lots of new adventures and a once haunted little dog has been finding her way. Now just two weeks later, and prepare for your heart to smile:
