Lost cow comes running home after hearing her human mom call for her

Admin

According to the Healthy Journal as well as other scientific research information, cows are generally quite intelligent and can remember events, other animals and people for a long time. In pastures, cows have been noted to interact in socially complex ways; developing friendships over time and sometimes holding grudges against other cows who have treated them badly.

Cows are also known to mourn the deaths and/or separations from those they love. The mother and calf bond is very strong, and story after story have reflected cows losses through tears and frantic searches for their babies after their calves were taken away.

And on the TikTok account @Sjabrumlivestock posted a heartwarming video of mom calling her lost baby. This happens to have been Piggy’s human mom calling for her lost calf! Check it out!

“One of our cows got in with our neighbor’s cows and was missing for two days. I couldn’t believe she came out of hundreds of cows to the sound of my voice. I was crying like a baby! (sorry about my voice) “

The video has garnered more than 4.7 million views and lots and lots of smiles for those of us who just love cows and their good natured personalities.

And if you need another example of the love these farmers have for their cows, check out this video – Yep, it’s a heater to take away the shivers on a very cold day.

Well, it looks like treats for Piggy, and a big welcome home.
