In Melrose, Texas, a very neglected dog chewed the rope that bound her and escaped. Volunteers from the group Melrose Park Neglected Dogs stepped up to help her on Tuesday afternoon.
Her name is Ladybug, and she has been undergoing veterinarian care for the past few days since having been found. She has received her vaccinations and given a bath. Her folds have been cleaned away of the thick, black yeasty oily collected residue. Her collar, once pink, had been covered in plant vegetation because she apparently had been left outside her entire life.
How she lived this long in the heat I don’t know. She was dragging a rope she had chewed off. She is 5 years old, heartworm positive ;she has been used for breeding and well folks NO more…
