At the Kansas Humane Society, Skylar really wants to find a home and be adopted. She is four-years-old and appears to be a German shepherd mix with all the best parts. Sadly, her previous owners could no longer afford to have a dog and surrendered her.
This would-be escapee is fine, and she has since been moved to a covered kennel where she can’t jump up and attempt another escape.
She has lived with both dogs and cats in the past and did well with both. We do recommend bringing in any dogs in the home for an introduction prior to adoption just to see how they will do together, and you can learn about our dog-to-dog introduction process at kshumane.org/adopt
