It was the best day for a rescue dog named Loki, who left the Oconee Humane Society in Seneca, South Carolina last week. His video clip on TikTok went viral, and here’s why.
I adopted this dog and he held my hand the whole way home. He’s such a sweet boy.
Abigail Arellano
Loki is one-year-old and had only been at the shelter for a week when he became seriously ill. Abigail had taken the dog home as a medical foster after he had been treated by the veterinarian Dr. Paul Black. According to Abigail, she became emotionally attached to Loki who had already fallen in love with her son, was house trained and just captured everyone’s heart.

He’s doing great. It’s like he’s always been there. He and my son are best friends.

And might we also add that Abigail wants everyone to know how Dr. Black volunteers to help the shelter animals for no charge.
Congratulations to Abigail, Loki and Dr. Black at the Oconee Humane Society.
