Mykayla arrived at the shelter with her three-legged sister, Coco, who wiggled her way into a loving forever home. Now, Mykala waits patiently, hoping her perfect match is just around the corner.
Meet Mykala, a courageous canine with a heart as big as her spirit! Despite facing adversity, Mykala continues to shine with resilience and love. This brave three-legged beauty found herself at the shelter after losing her beloved owner and loyal canine sister. While her heart aches from the loss, Mykala’s gentle soul still radiates warmth and affection.
Mykala’s spirit is as boundless as her love. Despite missing a leg, she keeps up with the best of them on walks and loves playtime. Cuddles and companionship are her happy place, and those who meet her, fall in love with her soulful eyes and wagging tail. Because she hasn’t been doing well in the shelter, she has since been placed in a foster home where she is doing much better.
Mykayla’s owner had personal issues which led to her surrendering Mykala and Coco at the same time in March 2024. She continues to be very friendly as her “wagging tail and hopeful eyes” melt hearts.
Senior dogs and special needs pets are often overlooked, but their capacity for love is just as mighty. Mykala may have three legs, but her heart has four chambers of endless affection waiting to be shared.
