Banjo scheduled to be euth’ed with 17 other puppies sharing same heartbreaking fate

Admin

The euthanasia list for Polk County Animal Control located in Cedartown, Georgia is truly heartbreaking. What is scheduled this morning to be Banjo’s last sunrise, will then be followed by 17 puppies and two dogs already spayed – including one dog less than 25 pounds.

So when you are surrendering your ‘cute’ litter of puppies don’t assume they will make it out alive. The same goes for small dogs.

Banjo is barely six-months-old. How can that even be fair? This friendly little boy has barely started his life; he’s sweet and submissive, yet the shelter is too crowded and more unwanted pets continue to pour in as strays and surrendered dogs.

Next there’s Rodney. He weighs only 25 pounds and is so precious.

The shelter is in desperate need of help. Rescue organizations and foster homes are full, but still the innocent victims of neglect and human indifference keep arriving at the shelter. New people are needed to help as well as families ready to adopt.

And it doesn’t get much sadder than this.

i’ll be going today to Polk to tell all the dogs goodbye and try to make their last day the best it can be considering the situation but it’s awful to think that little 10 pound or less puppies are going to die because of irresponsible a*******.
