In Los Angeles, Suzette Hall with Logan’s Legacy 29 and five rescue volunteers rushed out to a freeway ramp on Monday where an area resident reported seeing someone toss small dogs off the side of the road. The dogs had been there a week before anyone was called to help, and one of the tiny pups remained in the same spot as if he had been waiting for his owner to return and just cried.
It was truly heartbreaking to imagine how these small dogs felt as their owner crushed them together in an old metal container and sent them rolling down the hill.
And so the work began. Suzette set the humane trap on the freeway ramp, and he was so hungry and so scared, his rescue was easy. The second dog who had been constantly crying in the same spot ran as soon as he saw the women. He was found hiding under a car; he was barely moving and likely hadn’t had any food or water for over a week.
The dogs were microchipped; their information led back to a disconnected phone number, however that particular owner has ten other dogs registered with this chip recovery company. Obviously, the owner decided to dump the seniors and the ones who needed help the most. One of the dogs has a huge mass on his liver, and the other one has a large hernia. The third dog is still out there; the rescuers have been trying to find him for the last four days.
Meet Milton; this boy is so sad. He is now receiving x-rays and having bloodwork done. An ultrasound has found an extended stomach and masses on his liver. Further testing is needed, and everything will be done to help this sweet dog.

Meet Margaret; she was ready to be saved. More testing is being done on this 10-year-old for a huge hernia and rotten teeth.

All I want is to save these discarded lives. We have two safe, working as we speak to get the other. Sweet babies I’m so sorry that he threw you away like trash.
We love you and you will now know what love really is.
