Meet Chunky; he’s a 13-year-old senior ShihTzu who was surrendered to the Carson Animal Care Center on April 23, 2023. He’s not available for adoption until May 1, 2023; his microchip was found registered to someone who was not the person who surrendered him. Thus far, no one has come. Does anyone recognize him?
Little is known about Chunky’s past, but we do know, he is very frightened, and who wouldn’t be with all the noise, all the barking and all of the strangers. He does get along fine with the other dogs in his kennel. This little guy is just waiting for a special person to become his hero.
Check out his video. Chunky is trying his best to be brave.
