Along a country road in rural Missouri, 30 tiny puppies had been abandoned in a cardboard box. All they had were each other, and the dozens of tiny legs worked hard to huddle against each other for warmth and security.
It had been a Good Samaritan on May 10, who accidentally found the cold and shivering little ones and called out to Wright-Way Rescue for help. Racing against the clock, trying to make sure the tiny puppies would survive, they were rushed to a veterinarian in the area where they received critical health checks and basic medical care.
We urgently need your help. Today, our hearts broke as we learned about 30 defenseless puppies found abandoned on the side of a rural Missouri road. Sadly, abandoned puppies are a frequent sight for us, but 30 at once is unimaginable. Who could leave these innocent creatures behind?
The tiny little fighters had to battle against tick infestation; a life threatening menace for such little victims.
Upon closer examination, veterinarians were able to distinguish three different aged litters; some of the puppies still required bottle feeding. Caring for all of the puppies have required specialized care.
These puppies will receive ongoing care at Wright-Way, including vaccinations, parasite treatment, high-quality food, and eventually, spay and neuter surgeries.

As they grow stronger and healthier, these adorable pups will be ready for the ultimate adventure – finding their forever homes! The rescue organization is actively seeking loving foster and adoptive families to provide them with a warm, nurturing environment where they can blossom.
