Mushu is a very special boy; let us share his back story, and perhaps that special someone will come into his life very soon. He wasn’t adopted at yesterday’s adoption event, he hasn’t been adopted yet today; maybe tomorrow? The volunteers and staff at Adoption First Animal Rescue in North Carolina dressed him up in a tuxedo, however at the end of the way, Mushu shook it all off … his tux included.
Mushu had been surrendered back to Adoption First from his adopters. He had been having behavior issues, and there had been discussion about euthanasia. That’s when the one-year-old bully mix went to Ridgeside K9 to learn his basic commands, and for the last two months the training staff has helped him become a responsible canine citizen. He is reported to have been a quick learner and would benefit from further reinforcement of his training. Mushu will thrive in a home where he is the only pet, and there are no young children.
Now look at him! It warms my heart to see him thriving. It’s always a pleasure to work with Adoption First. I’m glad they agreed to let me help this handsome boy because if they had not, he would not be here.
Let’s work together to help Mushu. Check out his TikTok video:
Mushu is ready for his second chance on life. Misunderstood and passed around, surrender after surrender Why? Because he was never formally taught what he was supposed to do. He has completed some basic training and needs very strong parents who will continue his training.
