Meet Olive – a rescued greyhound who once raced at a casino dog track in West Virginia. Four years ago, Jennifer Gregory, who lives in Erie, Pennsylvania, adopted Olive, and their mutual admiration for each other is humorous and so delightfully touching.
According to Newsweek and their interview with Jennifer, Olive has come a long way since her racing days.
naps and peanut butter are high on her list of favorite things to do. She has a very sweet and gentle disposition, loves attention and relishes interacting with people and dogs.

And so Jennifer decided to send Olive to daycare for the social interaction, and even though the dog receives a lot of attention at home from her human and the resident kitty, still Olive wanted more. Jennifer chose to send her to Peninsula Pups in Erie. She was asked to include a backpack with her dog, so the staff could “put notes in it.”
Then came the news, and we are delighted to share Olive’s report card from doggy daycare with readers:
olive is the ‘most bestest girl ever.’ The report card added ‘she has the best wiggle butt for wiggle butt Wednesday.’
olive is a very good listener and kind to her fellow students, but could show more initiative in P.e.
Doggy report
Of course, we have another proud mom, and Jennifer was sure to thank the staff for the extra-special treatment and attention.
Dogs are just the best – wouldn’t you agree?
