In Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, two emaciated dogs, on the brink of death, are miraculously bouncing back at the Speranza Animal Rescue. The dogs, Zak and Gregory had been abandoned by their previous owner.
The story of the rescue of the two dogs began on Thursday at a nearby home.
Headed back to the rescue with these 2 dogs. They were abandoned by their family at their home.
There was a bag of dog food in the one room – but the dogs were locked in another area and couldn’t get to it.
Both emaciated. Both hungry. Both thirsty. Both hot as hell. But both are now SAFE.
Zak and Gregory are certainly glad to have been rescued. Just look at their zest for life. It truly was criminal to have been left to die most horrible deaths.
The rescue has also credited Officer Werner for refusing to take no for an answer while saving the two dogs when no one else offered any support.
Check out how these two dogs are coming back to life. They are now on frequent, small meal refeeding programs so as not to stress their stomachs and their bodies.
