At the East Valley Shelter in Van Nuys, California, a four-month-old French bulldog arrived as a stray. The shelter has named the 13.94 pound puppy Julie, and it is hoped a rescue organization or a Good Samaritan will rescue her; her status is “Orange” and her condition is more than likely caused from poor breeding and neglect.
Volunteers and staff are heartbroken for Julie; what an awful beginning to her young life.
Her medical notes from the shelter include the following:
“Left rear leg stiffened and splayed out. She also has swollen, inflamed and thickened anogenital areas. Dribbling urine and we manually pushed out soft feces from rectum.”
