Queen Balti is the “saddest dog” her rescuers ever met. She arrived at The City of Mobile Animal Services after a report about people throwing trash at her in the street because her eyes had been crusted shut from a severe eye infection, and strangers just didn’t care enough to come to her aid. They just wanted her gone!
Once Queen Balti arrived at the shelter, her eyes had to be stitched open, and she has now slowly recovered.
According to Queen Balti’s shelter staff and advocates, a plea went out on social media for a medical foster, but sadly there was not one application. This sweet girl has been going though her recovery in her dreary concrete kennel.
But now, Queen Balti has seemingly given up. She doesn’t eat her food and cries to be comforted. She is fully healed, and she needs to be in a foster home or adopted.
this girl has been let down so badly and needs a second chance.
