Can someone help Mikey? This four-year-old dog is in need of rescue assistance because of both behavior and his medical needs at Dallas Animal Services. He was found as a stray in the area and the person who brought Mikey to the shelter reported the dog having stomach issues – best described as diarrhea.
Sadly, Mikey has been so neglected and mistreated, he would not let the staff medical team to handle him, and is in need of rescue assistance to save his life.
According to Dallas Urgent Shelter Dogs, Mikey entered the shelter on September 1 and tried his best to hide in the corner of his shelter enclosure and become invisible.
Medical observation 9/1 patient was growling and showing teeth, tried to bite the leash when attempted to get him out of the kennel.
Mikey is listed as “Rescue Only” and was found near 9800 Black Walnut Street in Dallas, Texas.
“He was brought in by a Good Samaritan. He has been so neglected and mistreated! He thinks everyone is going to hurt him because he’s been so abused and living on his own.”
