A ten-year-old dog, whose loyalty is unquestionable, waits for a compassionate rescuer to soothe her sadness. According to the Memphis Animal Services, it had been on May 25th when an animal control officer discovered the dog lying beside the chair next to her owner’s decomposed body.
When the welfare call came in, it had been an inquiry from a neighbor who had not seen the person for at least a week and a half. The person in the home had been deceased at least two weeks, according to authorities.
And when authorities arrived, there was the faithful dog …
she looked back at her owner as i was leading her away and cried. I could see the sadness in her eyes.
