In Van Nuys, California, the East Valley Animal Shelter is caring for a young dog picked up at a Walmart parking lot on Monday afternoon. The dog’s facial deformity quickly garnered significant attention, and rescuers shared the young pup’s photo hoping to find his owner.
No one knows what happened to this three-year-old dog’s face. Perhaps he suffered from an accident earlier in life and has been able to adapt to his deformity, or maybe he was born that way.
