Our sincere thanks for saving the life just in time of an innocent puppy about to be euthanized at a Georgia shelter, goes to Rescue Dogs Rock NYC.
Meet baby Liam. The non-profit organization received a plea on Saturday from the Georgia shelter partner asking if they could help and rescue the puppy because their veterinarian had scheduled to euthanize him because of his bent legs. It is believed the deformity could have been a result of rickets caused by confinement and poor nutrition.
The puppy, along with his litter of brothers and sisters, had been neglected thus resulting to a very poor start to life. In addition to his leg deformity, Liam is also suffering from mange. His coat is gone; he’s nearly bald and his skin is red and swollen. The sad look of defeat is even more heartbreaking.
All of the puppies are safe and out of the shelter.
