Bonny has been sitting at Miami-Dade Animal Services since March 2023. The very sweet, but shy pup has gone unnoticed for months; he is mellow and quiet and deserves better than to be sitting in a shelter waiting to be euthanized through no fault of his own.
Let’s start with checking out Bonny’s brief video clip:
When Bonny first entered the shelter, he was extremely stressed, but was very calm with people. He was treated for melena and has been doing well. At intake he weighed 42 pounds and is seven years old.
A volunteer reports:
This sweet boy is Bonny (#A2447022). He’s about 7 years old. He’s a big boy at 90lbs but he is a gentle giant. He’s a sweetheart and loves people. He loves treats and even knows how to sit on command! He’s done playgroups but seems to prefer the company of female dogs. It’s always recommended though if you have a dog already to do a meet and greet and very slow introductions at home.
He’s been waiting for 6 months with no interest.
