In Wichita Falls, Texas, the Humane Society of Wichita County advertised one of their dogs in need of a patient and understanding new family with a most unique post on social media.
Eddie, a 17-pound dachshund grabbed some much needed attention after his caregivers decided to tell it like it is with the nervous, one-year-old mix.
This is Eddie, Eddie is an a$$holeEddie. hates other dogs, he’s 17 pounds and could take on a Rottweiler and win. If Eddie had an accent, he would sound like he’s from the Bronx, wearing a wife beater t-shirt and a tattoo that says MOM on his arm. If you got into a bar fight, Eddie would back you up and take on all 5 guys, put his cigarette out on their forehead and not spilling a drop of his beer while doing it. So, if you think you are man enough to adopt him, please be our guest. We want Eddie out of here because he scares our big dogs.
Oddly enough, the description of Eddie attracted a lot of attention, and later that day the shelter posted “the a**hole dog” found his forever home.
As long as they keep his cigarettes and beer well stocked and keep him away from bulldogs eyeing him up across the courtyard (although I’m pretty sure he could whoop em) he’s going to be just fine.
And now, Eddie has his own Facebook (Ahole Eddie)page and TikTok account. If there’s one message that Eddie is sure to share – NEVER GIVE UP!
