SAFE!
At ACCT Philly in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, we see the heartbreaking expression on the face of a once loved dog who was surrendered to a city shelter this week because her family “had to move.”
Sheba is alone and afraid; she’s been described as a great dog, house trained, never destroys anything, no aggression, good with other animals and loves children. She becomes friends with everyone she meets; her temperament is nothing short of superb.
Honestly she is the best dog i’ve ever owned. Sheba is a very loving dog. I believe a home with her being the only dog would be better, but she’s fine with other dogs if they won’t be aggressive.
She’s very loving, and loves to be where ever you are. She loves the outside and loves when it snows.

Yet, here Sheba waits for her family to return, and we wish she could realize her hopes and dreams, but sadly, that’s not to be.
Sheba is low energy; perhaps the best description of her is a “couch potato.” In addition to her wonderful disposition, the seven-year-old knows how to sit, stay, wait, slow down, go pee and poop and even recognizes names. Although she has not had any experiences with cats, Sheba does wag her tail when she sees them. Perhaps some feline companionship might be an option?
Please share Sheba’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. For more information how this sweetheart can be fostered or adopted, please click here. Make sure to reference Sheba ACCT-A-152747.
