At the Bladen County Animal Shelter in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, a two-year-old mom, 50 pound dog arrived as a stray with her three newborn puppies. Because of the tender age of her puppies, shelter staff has labeled Banna and her family “rescue only.”

To become one of the rescue partners, pull dogs through our organization and receive pledges please click link below:

The Unforgotten Souls are dedicated to saving the lives of companion animals to decrease the euthanasia rate of high kill shelters by educating communities on spay and neuter, bringing awareness to animal cruelty, and raising money for basic medical needs for the animals at the shelter.

Please share her plight and the fight for their lives with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Funds have been pledged and will be made payable to the approved rescue organization after this dog is safely out of the shelter.

Sweet girl gave birth to three puppies on 12/4. The shelter is no place for them to be.

Banna is very good with her babies, but doesn’t seem to care about anything else at this point. She did well with other dogs on her dog test, but is losing hope of someone saving her
