I don’t like living in this cage, I want to play and enjoy life like the other cats ‎

Every day, I sit in this small, cold cage, watching the world through metal bars. My name is Mimi, and I am just a cat like many others. But unlike the cats I see running freely in the yard, chasing butterflies and playing in the sunshine, I am trapped. I don’t like living in this cage. I want to play, explore, and enjoy life like the other cats.

Being inside this cage makes me feel lonely and sad. I have no one to play with, no space to run, and no warm hands to pet me. I can only watch the happy cats outside. They chase each other, roll in the grass, and nap under big trees. I wonder, why can’t I have the same life? Why am I locked away while they are free?

Sometimes, I dream of what it would feel like to be outside, to feel the soft earth under my paws, to smell fresh flowers, and to hear the wind in the trees. I would make friends. I would run as fast as I could. I would climb trees and feel alive. But every time I open my eyes, I am still here—in the cage.

I know I am not a bad cat. I just want a chance to live happily. Every living creature, even a small cat like me, deserves freedom, love, and joy. Life in a cage is not a real life. It is waiting. Waiting for someone to see me, to open the door, and to give me the life I dream of.

This is my simple wish: I don’t want to stay in this cage. I want to play. I want to enjoy life like the other cats. I hope that one day, someone will set me free, and I will finally know what it feels like to truly live.
