Ana and her sister Tammy were heartlessly abandoned in the parking lot of the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter. The bonded pair have likely lived their entire lives together and look to each other for comfort and love in this terribly scary situation filled with strangers and loud noises. Still, the two are sweet and friendly to people and to other dogs.
Sadly, the shelter is known to separate bonded dogs; perhaps with the hope of giving them a better chance of being adopted, but doesn’t every dog have their own story?
…these girls are in great danger of being separated. If you can foster them together for a rescue or if you have the biggest heart and are willing to give these two girls a home…

Both dogs are reported to be very friendly and have had all positive interactions with other dogs. Make sure to verify all information with the shelter. They have been at the shelter since November 23, 2023. Tammy is listed as an unaltered female black and white terrier mix. Anna is listed as a five-year-old black and white terrier mix.
