In Tempe, Arizona, at the Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, it had been a quiet night at the shelter; that is until one of the dogs decided he wanted some action. Meet King; a high energy pooch with a penchant to party perhaps?
It wasn’t until the alarm went off at the rescue organization about 1:00 in the morning when the founder, Jodi Polanski, of Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, got out of bed to check on the security camera what was going on. At first glance, all seemed quiet, but then came the “mess” and much more.
King could be seen on the video footage breaking out of his kennel and trying to get the other dogs out. Party time! King then opened one of the closed doors at the shelter and treated himself to food and beverages.
Uh oh! Then came the moment of justice; a Tempe Police officer walked through the door. Busted! The officer had shown up at the rescue shelter because the alarm continued to blare.
So what’s an officer to do when the culprits have four legs and are just too cute to arrest, and who has multiple pairs of handcuffs, not to mention won’t those canine paws just slip out of them anyway? So the officer got King and his pals back to where they belonged and even cleaned up the mess.
Donations to the rescue would be wonderful. If interested in adopting, fostering, volunteering or donating, please check out their website by clicking here.
But first, check out the video. Have you ever seen anything this adorable? Many thanks to this awesome police officer.
