In Nashville, Tennessee, a family of dogs “miraculously survived” living outdoors in near zero temperatures after having been left in a dog carrier covered only by a tarp. According to Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue, a police officer had been called to investigate a family of dogs left out in single digit temperatures with no satisfactory protection or food.
When the officer arrived, he discovered a dog carrier covered with a tarp and saw the mother dog licking the snow. The sparse food that had been left for the dogs had froze, and the seven puppies were shaking uncontrollably. How they survived was nothing short of a miracle.
Sadly, this county has no animal shelter or animal control. There were no other options to save this family, and Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue stepped up to help these innocent victims of neglect and abuse.
One of the original seven puppies died while in the rescue’s care; she had been loaded with parasites. The mother dog is reported to be weak; the other puppies are also loaded with worms and parasites.
The owner has since been charged.
I will say i don’t understand this situation as we offer 100% free spays and neuters for this county; no questions asked, no income requirements. I stand amazed.
Foster parents are needed to help these puppies. If you can help or donate, please contact the rescue by clicking here.
