At the City of San Bernardino Animal Services, Brad was returned to the shelter on January 16, 2024 and is again available for adoption or rescue. His previous family, temporarily motivated by the thought of a free adoption event on December 16, adopted Brad, but once the excitement of having a dog wore off, it seemed as if even renaming him Noble, wasn’t enough motivation to keep him.
The reason the adopter returned Brad; oh yeah – “he wanted a back yard dog, and Brad was too needy.” We can only assume having the responsibility of a dog was too much for this person.
This is one of the happiest faces I’ve ever seen. He smiled for the camera, as if he knew this would be his one shot to be noticed for adopters looking online for a new friend!
Brad just doesn’t seem to have much luck finding a new home, and what makes it so sad is that Brad is the “perfect” dog. He loves people and was previously kenneled with other dogs and everyone got along fine.
