Heartbreaking: Abandoned shelter dogs are perfect and hope for homes before their time is up

A beautiful German shepherd and her pal, a Great Pyrenees spend their time together in a small kennel at the Riverside County Animal Services in Riverside, California. Neither dog has been given a name; the shepherd is sweet and friendly and very social and active. Her pal, the one-year-old Great Pyrenees is also very friendly and gets along well with her shelter pal.

The shepherd has been noted to be showing signs of kennel stress.

She came to the shelter 38 days ago and is listed as abandoned. She was never even given a name. We don’t know her story but it must be awful. She will need an active family. If someone can foster her, another life will be saved.

This dog has been described as very sweet and friendly. It’s surprising that she hasn’t already been adopted, but there are so many beautiful and well-behaved dogs who have not found homes. All dogs are considered urgent at this overcrowded shelter.
