Pleas for help for little 2 year old terrier with painful injuries falling on deaf ears at Miami shelter

On February 12, a young terrier blend dubbed Pirate arrived at Miami-Dade Animal Services with deep lacerations on his neck and left rear leg. The wound in his neck has become infected and necrotic, and although the shelter veterinarians are treating Pirate, this little guy needs specialized treatment; the shelter worries that his injuries will become sepsis.

The shelter has sent out several please for help, but there have not been any responses; it is as though the emails have not been read or ignored. Can you help?

According to the shelter, Pirate is now considered to be in critical condition. The following notes from the shelter will help explain his current condition:

2/18 PIRATE REMAINS CRITICAL- General condition- Critical
Large wounds w/ a deep pocket on left escapular area
Area cleaned, necrotic tissue removed
all other wounds cleaned.
Pet will require aggressive follow up and antibiotic therapy.
Large amount of purulent material and necrotic, infected tissue removed.

Pet requires further care to avoid sepsis.

2/16 VERY URGENT

General condition- Critical
Large wounds w/ a deep pocket on left escapular area
Area cleaned, necrotic tissue removed
edges debrided- drain placed.
all other wounds cleaned.
Pet will require aggressive follow up and antibiotic therapy.
Large amount of purulent material and necrotic, infected tissue removed.
Drain should be removed in 3-5 days as determined by the attending veterinarian at that time.

Pet requires further care to avoid sepsis.

2/13 URGENT PLEA
Deep laceration on neck infected and necrotic cannot be closed yet. Edema on rear legs. Sweet
