Puppy fighting for his life after ingesting drugs hidden in tire

A six-month-old puppy is fighting for his life after ingesting drugs hidden in a tire where the pet lived outdoors. The previous owner’s daughter is alleged to have left the drugs inside of the tire; the puppy had then ingested the drugs which resulted in seizures.

Instead of rushing the puppy to a veterinarian for emergency treatment, Foxy (the puppy) was left alone for three days with no food or water.

“While he suffered, a volunteer rushed to get him[owner] to take him to the vet, and the owners demanded him back to let him die in their yard so they would not be caught with drugs. They even stated they would simply bury him alive! Thankfully we fought to get him out!,” Stacey Silverstein, co-founder of Rescue Dogs Rock NYC posted on Facebook with the disturbing and heartbreaking videos of a puppy in dire need of medical intervention.

Foxy was rushed to a local veterinarian, however due to the severity of his condition which includes ongoing seizures, he is being transported to San Antonio where he is able to receive specialized medical care. This little guy deserves a chance to receive top notch medical evaluation and help before decisions have to be made about his future.

At this time he is alert, however he continues to have seizures.

He will need an MRI at the cost of $3000. Donations are needed to help Foxy.
