This is Bilbo, who according to volunteers at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, looks as though he is “about to burst into tears.” He has been described as extremely sweet and friendly. Why would his owner not be looking for him if Bilbo had actually been lost?
Sadly, the 12-year-old terrier hasn’t had much of a pampered life. When brought into the shelter, veterinarians diagnosed him with a bad back, bad legs and bad teeth. It seems no one cared how or where Bilbo lived or if he was ever missed.
