In Spalding County, Georgia, the City of Griffin Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding the owner of an abused dog found on Tuesday.

According to the police department’s Facebook page, the dog now dubbed Ed by caregivers is currently being helped at North Griffin Animal Hospital. Police shared the heartbreaking photo of Ed stating the dog’s owner could be prosecuted.

“Any help will be appreciated. This poor animal does not deserve this and the owner should be prosecuted.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Griffin Police Department at 770.229.6450. Information can remain anonymous.

Doesn’t Ed deserve justice? Updates on the dog’s condition will be made available here.
