Urgent! Handsome German shepherd puppy on euth’ list needs loving home

This beautiful eight-month-old German Shepherd puppy (A1783512) is in dire need of a permanent and loving home. He is currently at Riverside County Animal Control – San Jacinto Shelter in California and is at risk of being euthanized due to diarrhea and bloody stools. This could be a sign of a treatable medical condition, and he shouldn’t be put down without a proper diagnosis.

This sweet pup doesn’t even have a name yet, and this may be his only chance to find a loving family. He is playful and active, wagging his tail and showing increased interest in food. He has tested negative for parvo but hasn’t been checked for Giardia or other treatable causes of his bloody stool.

02/28/24 15:23 Check GI signs. Eating/drinking Ok, no appetite yesterday and bloody diarrhea. Urine on blanket, no feces.

Walked outside, very active, no eliminations. No IV fluids today, pet showing better appetite.
