Rescuers free stray dog stuck under van for days

Admin

A scared, stray dog can look forward to a much better life after Precinct One animal cruelty investigators and the Houston SPCA rescued her after she became stuck under a van in the backyard of a property in the 8600 block on Whitecastle Lane on Tuesday.

According to the Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct One, the property owner where the dog was discovered had died. Neighbors heard the dog crying and called for help.

A mechanic came out to the property to help, and the dog was sedated.

Fortunately, the dog is expected to make a full recovery. She has no broken bones, blood work came back normal and she is being treated for dehydration. Let’s hope she finds a new home full of love.

Many thanks to the rescuers who saved her life. Be the voice for those who cannot speak.
