There has hardly been a breed of dogs that have not walked through the doors of an animal shelter in the United States. Some of the dogs were lost, some were mistreated, some were not wanted and some – there are just no rational reasons they wind up waiting in a kennel cage.
In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a nine-month-old gorgeous Belgian Malinois entered the Broward County Animal Care Center. He is reported to be neutered, weighs 51 pounds and is brown and black. He entered the shelter on Monday and needs a foster home with an experienced and approved person.
It is important this boy be placed in a foster home. That’s where volunteers are able to tell us more about a dog’s temperament, drive and behaviors. Finding out about the dog is the best way to ensure a positive and successful adoption in the future.
Share this beautiful dog’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Let’s work together to find the best arrangements for this boy – and one day soon it is hoped, his perfect new home will be a reality.
