When a Good Samaritan found a puppy stumbling down Harry Street in Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday covered in bandaids, she reached out for help. The rescue group Beauties and Beasts, Inc reached out and made arrangements to rush the puppy to their partner veterinarian hospital.
Fortunately the puppy tested negative for the deadly Parvovirus, however he was covered in painfully, infected wounds along with having been dehydrated. Intravenous fluids and antibiotics are being dispensed, and he will need further treatments and likely an extended stay at the hospital.
“With so many medical cases currently we are seriously at a point where common sense would tell us not to treat, send him to the shelter for his stray hold, turn away….but that not who we are. We can’t let this baby suffer in pain and sickness. Please donate so that we can continue to give care to those who need us most.”
